How can I get my iPhone 5 to sync with my songs?

I can't get my iPhone 5 to sync with my songs

iTunes is listing my playlist, using match, but no songs within the playlist on my phone. I want all my songs on my phone so I can use them, not just when I am near wireless connections. I use LE most of the time.
