How can I get my earphone speaker working on a DIY Repair?

I am in the process of DIY repair on my iphone 5s. When I'm finished and for some reason my ear speaker doesn't work, what could possibly be the problem? would it be the front camera power flex cable? would it be the contact springs? or could it be that that the ear speaker sustained some damage? or could it possibly be a little of all three?[

Sounds like a cable didn't get connected properly. I'd disassemble and check all the flex cables again. If that doesn't fix it, I'd say the earpiece may be damaged.
