How can I get iMessages only sent to my iPhone, and not any other linked devices?

So i signed into iMessages on my friends ipod, that she let me have, when my mom took my phone, and my mom found the ipod and will not give it back. She is reading my messages, which i do not like and I dont know how to fix that, I changed my apple ID and i also unchecked my email so its only my number in way to reach me in settings. is there anything else I can do? im not sure if she's still getting my messages, and will she be forced to resign in, because I changed my apple ID? if you could answer these questions it would help me out alot!

I'm going to assume you're a minor and therefore, I will not help you circumvent your mom's decision.

As a parent I have to side with @Just_Me_D on this. If you've changed your Apple ID your mom probably isn't seeing your messages anymore but the damage is already done on messages received on your original Apple ID.
