How can I do a restore using iCloud?

Restoring using icloud

I have forgotten the passcode to my jailbroken iphone 5. Is it possible to make a backup for it (without the backup password) and then restore the phone as new and log into icloud and get my info back?

iTunes will more than likely ask you for the lockscreen passcode before backing it up.
