How can I back up my phone out of iCloud storage?

can't back up phone out of icloud storage

My iphone cannot be backed up because there is not enough icloud storage, how do i clean it up?

I have no idea, but you could back it up on your computer, using iTunes =)

You may not be able to do it. You get 5GB of free space, and you have (at a minimum) at 16GB phone. Can't put 16 pounds of cabbage in a 5 pound bag. If that's the case, you will either need to buy more storage or back up to your computer.

Delete some stuff. Put photos and videos in Box, Dropbox and OneDrive. Then delete from the camera roll. You can toggle off many unnecessary apps from being backed up by iCloud. Go to iCloud in Settings and toggle those off. Then after cleaning up, back up.
