How can I archive a backup of iOS 8.4 on a Windows PC?

Hello all of u i want to know that how to archive backup of ios 8.4 in itunes in window not mac i have backup but cant get archive option when i put iphone in recovery mode it will start downloading ios 8.4 help me to archive ios 8.4 as ipsw file like this or get restore from backup of ios 8.4

From what I gather, what you are seeking to do is not currently possible using a Windows PC. Being that I do not have or use a Windows PC, I cannot test it out and confirm it for you.

I know it is old, but here is an answer: Unfortunately, the Archive option only works on iTunes for Mac. Your options are to copy the backup folder to another location, or just rename it in place and a new one will be created the next time you back up. You can also back up to iCloud, which saves the last 3 backups.

When you update, however, iTunes automatically archives the most recent backup of the previous version.
