I would like to add extra memory to my Macbook, how can I do this? Do I have to remove the memory it currently has to add more?

Which model MacBook is it? If it's one with the retina display, you can't change the RAM as it's soldered in.

If it's a non retina model, you can easily change what's in there by removing the bottom cover and removing the current RAM and adding the new. It's really easy to do.
