Why would they do this? Other than serving a fraction of the user base that doesn't have an Apple Watch, jow is it better than listening to Music from your watch? How do songs get added? All the infrastructure that we had for managing iPods inside iTunes was buried a long time ago. Sorry, the original poster is correct, get serious. A $3000 USD VR/AR Spatial Computer will sell better than a hard-wired, no-connectivity MP3 player hiding in a headphone case....
