To all who are waiting on your new phone, the home button is DEFINITELY different. It feels weird double clicking to close apps. My finger expects downward movement and feels feedback but knows nothing happened. It's going to take me a day or two haha.

I'm used to it already. The trick was to set the response at "3" and then hold the phone with a loose hand for a little while so that the whole phone body moves when you push the home button. Once my thumb was used to it, I held the phone more normally. Done

I'm expecting it to be odd like the force touch trackpad on the macbooks, to this date I still can't get used to it. Since i'll be coming from android, i'm hoping it will be like when you touch the virtual on screen buttons.

There a number of "negative" reviews on the "button" I'm looking forward to using it. Though, I'm holding off for now due to the audio jack. I consider the button change a good move.

I got to play with a 7 and 7 Plus yesterday, demo 7's at my local T-Mo store (the Black 128gb Plus I ordered has not arrived to me yet).

I thought the new home button felt fine and don't see any problem at all getting used to it,,, I think I even like better than my past iPhones,, and the new home button was something I was worried about,, I'm no longer worried after having a hands-on experience.

Cheers

It feels different yet familiar.
And I got so used to it now, that every time I pick up my 6 the actual button feels weirder than the new button.

Yep I agree on setting it at 3. Now I'm used to it.

I am in love with the new home button. It didn't take me long to get used to at all and it is very effective. I have mine set at a 2.
