Home button help

Hey guys...the home button on my edge iphone doesnt work anymore , which makes it very hard to use this phone obviously....i was wondering if anyone knows how to replace the home button and its circuitry , cause i dont want to pay for another phone.

You can try this website here. They have iPhone parts. As for the difficulty of taking the iPhone apart, if you do not have any experience or have doubts that you can take it apart... don't do it! Most people who attempt it end up making things worse. If you are good at things like this, go for it.

There is also a jailbreak app that helps you get around a broken home button. It is a SBSettings Close Button toggle.

well...i have taken my iphone apart and have fixed it before... does anyone know of a tutorial on how to replace the home button?

unfortunately from what ive seen they only have videos for 3G iphones....the product i need to replace is Apple iPhone OEM signal cable with connector..if anyone knows how to replace it let me know
