HGTV and Food network on Apple TV

Can't log in with Comcast for those apps on Appletv . But Comcast is an option on iPad and iPhone. Why is that?

Do you mean when you try to do the on-screen activate link you can't choose Comcast from the list? It could be an agreement issue with Comcast, those channels, and Apple, though it seems most others are on the bandwagon. You already pay for the content, who cares how you get it?

It never fails that no matter what provider I have at the time i.e.... Directv, Dish network, or now Comcast they are somehow not on the activation list. All that should be necessary is verification that you indeed pay somebody to receive said channel. This selective provider agreements is utter BS !!!
