Unfortunately, Text Effects and Send Later currently only work with iMessage and not SMS or RCS. I’m not sure why Apple has this limitation but they do. Yes I use Apple’s products, but I have friends who don’t and I would appreciate as an Apple user being able to have the same functionality when I message my friends irregardless of what phone they use.
