Help!

I bought the new 3G iPhone the day and it came out and I haven't encountered any problems until now. The screen is completely screwed. All it displays is white, occasionally with some lines. Does anyone know how to fix this with out taking it in to a dealer? I'm actually taking some summer classes at college right now, but I will be home so I can get it checked this weekend. Any suggestions as of what I could do to fix it would be much appreciated.

This maybe be obvious, but have you tried turning off and back on?

I have actually. Even though the screen is completely white, i still was able to do that (from memory) and I have tried restarting it. I am in the process of restoring it now and so far.. no luck.

Even Apple hardware can die (gasp) so I'd go to the return line if I were you.

return to sender. I haven't seen too many ppl who have had this problem. I haven't for sure!
