help with redsnow

I'm trying to use redsnow running windows and when it askes to locate the ipsw it won't. I downloaded the correct firmware but do I need to change or rename anything? please help.

Just select the firmware file (.ipsw) you downloaded.

When I click the download link to a .ipsw when it goes to download it the extension changes to .zip. If yours did that just rename it back to .ipsw from .zip and you should be good to go.
