Help with Apple ID and a plus question

Hi guys!!

I'm a new iPhone user and I'm having issues when trying to create my apple ID using my main e-mail.
Wouldnt like to create my ID using a secondary one.

Does Apple accepts @msn domains?

What do u suggest me to do?

Do you have tips about apps, for which apps would be nice to DL?
Im coming from WP and I don't know that much about iOS apps

Welcome to iMore! Why not use the @icloud.com email for your Apple ID? I think you can use any you wish. I haven't heard of any restrictions on domains.

You get an iCloud email address when you set up. It's usually name@icloud.com.
Can you do it on your phone? Go to Settings > iCloud > set up ID.

I'm new iPhone user. Just bought
didnt started it yet, due to this.

Wanted to use my main e-mail (which is @msn), but it won't let me. created a new e-mail, this time on gmail and I'm moving my contacts over there.

about the msn issue, there's nothing i can do about, right? :/

That shouldn't be an issue. There are no email domain restrictions as far as I know.

Set it up on your phone. Just follow directions and prompts. No reason why you can't use the msn.

Yep. I use a Gmail address for my Apple ID. No problems. Just follow the directions @ledsteplin posted above.
