HELP - video failing!

My 2007 15" MacBook pro is wigging out! The screen has all of these big blocks of black, and I really need my computer. HELP!

What were you doing on it prior to it "wigging out"? Have you tried rebooting it?

yes, and I let it cool, and I zapped the pram

Have you tried connecting it to an external monitor so you can tell if it's the video or the screen?

Take your laptop to a friend who does. You're gonna have to do some troubleshooting.

Success! I killed 2 birds with one stone! Since it needed a new gpu and the logic was messed up, I got another MBP from my neighbor who was moving and didnt want it any more allowed me to use it for parts and now my macbook is .2 GHz faster
