Help me play ALL podcasts, something doable on an iPod shuffle

I have various podcasts subscribed in iTunes and loaded on to my iPhone 3Gs.

How do I listen to all podcasts, sorted by date or title or show on the iPhone? All podcasts on the phone seems to be sorted by the show, and once the files from a show is done, the playback stops. That sucks when I am driving or exercising etc.

I suppose this could be done by creating a playlist in iTunes, but I don't want to do that every day, as my list of podcasts changes as new ones get downloaded to my PC.

I want to play all my podcasts, from the first to the last without any break, sorted the way I want to: Date (oldest -> newest or vice versa), title, show title, etc. How do I do that on the iPhone?

I'm not sure if you can do any kind of sorting, but on the MediaFly app, once you start listening, it will just play through all your scheduled podcasts until they're all gone.

I set up a smart playlist of podcasts and I sync that to my iPhone. That seems to be working.
