So I am jailbroken on a 6.1 iphone 5, I have sbsettings and tetherme. I was trying to download phonehint, and I looked away from the phone after a while I looked down and saw a spinning wheel type icon which was there for a while so I used home and power to shut the device off. Now my phone will not turn back on it gies to the apple and stays there indefinitely...please help me!:(

Cydia wont open, it flashes then closes how exactly can i start in safe mode?

Well yes, we're saying Cydia works in safe mode. To boot into safe mode, turn off your phone, hold the volume up button, then turn on your phone while still holding the volume up button. Then uninstall the bad tweak.

when I did that before it just acted as though the phone started unjailbroken, none of the tweaks(fake carrier, infinifolders) worked but this time it worked, Thanks.

That's how you know you're in safe mode--none of the tweaks are working. But I am glad you got it worked out

I am having the same problem. I am unable to get it to enter safe mode, and when I tried to do a restore on itunes I got error 3194...

Try holding the vol up button before it turns on then keeping it held until you are on the lockscreen, also keep it held for a few seconds after the lock screen comes on(do not hold power button, release when you see the apple).
