help clearing data off ipod

I want to clear all my data(apple id, facebook, google voice, etc personal info basicly) with out removing the songs off of it, reason is my little niece had gotten a ipod for christmas last year and broke hers on christmas day and im willing to give her mine as a late present, i just want to remove my personal stuff and apple it but leaving all the songs on it for her to keep and listen. Thanks and its a 4th gen if that helps

2. Restore the iPod as a new device.
3. Sync the music.
