Is anyone else having issues with their headphone adapter? I plug mine in and the audio is making a ticking noise, like a record skipping

Sounds like either a bad adapter, a bad cable, or bad earpieces. Do you notice the sound when using the headphones on another device? If not, I would just buy a new adapter.

I only use the adapter when using my 3.5MM AUX cord in my car, to plug into my iPhone 7 to stream music. The only thing I've noticed is I have to turn the volume up a little louder than I did when using my 6s Plus with the regular headphone jack. It's like the volume is somewhat muted on lower volume levels and you have to turn it up louder....if I'm making any sense lol....otherwise the sound quality sounds the same....
