has Apple shut down the ability to serve up news feed scrolling on the home screen?

I use Night Stand for iPad and have loved it since it first came on the market. It is the only app I have found that gives me everything I need to turn the dumb home page into a dynamic one. Recently the RSS feed section stopped working - well, the feeds appear to be dead. I have tried contacting the developer - thealarmclockcompany, but they will not respond. So, I decided to try you. I am aware that from time to time Apple will limit the scope of apps - could that be the case here - has Apple simply disallowed rss apps on home screen?

Welcome to iMore. I haven't heard anything about that. I doubt that would the case. It's probably an app issue. Did you read the app reviews in the App Store? Are others having the same issue? Have you tried deleting the app and reinstalling it?
