Hello,

Has anyone ever experienced lack of ram / app memory on your macbook air 14 inch ?

Recently, it happened to me while i'm working with my excel sheet, it's very annoying, so slow and at the end it froze and pop up notified the ram is not enough.

Tried to restart, quit every application (only 2 application running), shut down and restart, still run out off app for this excel sheet i'n working at

It's kinda strange mba cannot handled excel ?

Would be great if anyone can share the solution

I wasn't aware of a 14-inch MacBook Air. Anyway, I'm sure Excel isn't the problem here. You likely have too many things running in the background.

You can use Activity Monitor (built into macOS) to view and understand background processes. More info here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201464

Sorry, i meant 13" mba

Background process only running 2 apps

But anyway, i restarted and no helping, then i shut down and restart again after several hours, and it helped. Didn't knwo what happen though
