Has anyone else noticed a grid on their iPhone's with 7.0.4?

Has anybody noticed this on their iPhone and iPad's? I went to multiple apple stores and they can't figure out what it is. You should be able to see it on shutdown, It happens on all devices in the apple store and they say it?s a kernel panic. I think its placeholders for the new icons in 7.1.

You should look for it in a dark room. The apple store people are so rude in my area too.

Just checked it on mine and it does it for a split second when the iPhone is shut down via slider bar...but at no other time. Odd...

What model iPhone or iPad? I must be right it's a software bug. Apple Store employee keeps telling me it's a kernel panic, I highly doubt that.

I had powered off my 5 yesterday and made sure to look for what you saw. I didn't see it on my phone.

Those of you reporting not seeing it...this seems to only happen when the phone is powered down via slider action, and only for about a split second as soon as the screen turns off while powering down. Happens on my wife's 5S too...
