Has anyone confused your current watch with the Apple watch?

I have the LG G Watch, and multiple people have stopped and asked me if it was the Apple watch. Most of them didn't know anything about smart watches, and seemed interested in knowing more about smart watches.

I have a Moto360 so no, BUT I do get people or used to get people who would mistake my OnePlus One for the new iPhone. I have since moved on to a Note 4 which rarely gets mistaken and a Passport which can NEVER be mistaken for a new iPhone.

I used to get this long ago lol. I have one of the watches where the face is off until you push a button for the time. I got asked lots of times if it was the new Watch it was fun.

LOL, when I still had my LG G Watch, it was mistaken for the Apple Watch. I had changed the stock band for a metal band, so a quick glance may have made them think I had gotten one early.

Just today, I let my co-worker (who plans to order an Apple Watch) try on my Galaxy Gear to get an idea of the size and how it looks on his wrist. Someone walked by and asked him if it was the Apple Watch. Only people who don't know me well ask if my GG is an Apple Watch. Those that know me know that I've been wearing it for a year and a half so it couldn't be an Apple Watch.

I've gotten that about 10 times with my pebble usually when i'm out with a group and I read a text message or dismiss a call... basically the screen lights up and I get the "is that the apple watch, oh no, but you have an iPhone?"

In the fall, the non-tech-savvy people who heard about an Apple Watch would ask if my Pebble was the Apple Watch.

I have the original Pebble watch. And people at work know I'm an Apple guy and they ask me if I already got the Apple watch. So I jokingly tell them that I did and show them my Pebble. At first they believe me until they see me smiling.

But also, at other places, strangers had asked me if my watch is the iWatch. LOL. I think for some people the iWatch name will stick. Just like some people call iPod Touch, the iTouch.
