I skipped the 5 seeing how it wasn't a big upgrade from the 4s and got myself a S3 which I'm happy with.who knows I may come back to apple if the 5s/6 takes my fancy....

I didn't get the iPhone5. I am still going through iPhone4S's like crazy with whatever is going on so til that's 100% figured out, Im not getting any new anythings. I am right at the point now where all hell should start breaking loose, plus I am about to go out of town so I expect craziness this week with this one.

I was actually going to sit the iP5 out & hang onto my perfectly fine 4s since I'm not eligible for a real-deal upgrade until after January...but AT&T's horrible data network in my area for the last year or so has gotten me so pissed off that I may be jumping ship to Verizon tomorrow!

If that happens..."hello" iP5! :)

You wouldn't care about losing your unlimited data?

I upgraded to the 4S about a month before the announcement of iPhone 5 and I'm completely happy. I've seen a couple of 5's in the wild and handled them, but the bottom line for me is that the 5 didn't present a compelling enough case to get me excited about it.

I'm going to skip the iPhone 5. I'm not due for an upgrade until May 2013, and I will hold that upgrade for the 5S (or whatever the next generation will be).

I didn't necessarily skip the 5 I was a bb user and couldn't take waiting for the 5 to become available so I bought a 4s a few days before the 5 was available to me. Just added a line to my account for the 5 now I have the best of both worlds carrying the 4s and 5. They work together nice. I've found that the 4s is my work horse and the 5 gets to take it easy.

I've played with the iPhone 5 a few times now in the AT&T shop, Best Buy and even my friend has one. I'm yet to be convinced to upgrade\switch from my iPhone 4s to an iPhone 5.

I have iOS 6 on my iPhone 4s now, so maybe the 'little' things there are keeping me rooted to it. Maybe, just maybe if panorama was NOT an option on the iPhone 4s\iOS6 I might have switched ;)

Same feelings.

I am happy with the 4S. IMO the OS is the core relationship with the end user. As long as the OS didn;t change from one model to another, give or take a few features that I am not worried about, then I am staying with the 4S. I have supported a few iPhone 5 in the past week at work. and though it's great. I have no need to switch..

I won't ever use an upgrade ever again since I want to keep my unlimited data. I will more than likely get a used 5 when the prices come down. My 4S is doing well in the mean time.

Confused. Are you saying if you upgrade you MUST change your data plan, too? I was under the impression that wasn't true. I switch between my iPhone 4S and Samsung Galaxy S3, and have yet to 'lose' my unlimited data plan...

If you buy a phone at a subsidized price from verizon you will loose your unlimited data. It's better to buy the phone at full price or bring your own phone.

I got my 4S just as my friend got his 5, I must admit I don't really like the new shape ( this was similar with the Bold 9000 and the 9700 ) He sent it back and now has a 4S.

The iphone 4S has in my opinion grown to be the iconic shape, just as the 3g/gs was.

maybe given time and future devices I will grow to like it, but at this time the iphone 4/4S is distinctly Apple.

I have been on the every other iPhone cycle since I got my 3gs, skipped the 4 and got the 4S, skipped the 5 and going to get the next one
