Reader Mode in Safari is a great way to reduce the clutter on a web page in order to make it easier to read. When you enable Reader Mode, Safari strips away all the ads and sidebars and other unwanted material, and just shows you the article itself and accompanying images. It also sometimes offers a higher contrast print. That in itself is a big help when an article or blog uses a low contrast text I can't read. iOS 8 has added another helpful feature to Reader Mode: the ability to adjust the text size.

This example lets you see the contrast between the original page and Reader Mode.

Tap the icon thingy in the top left to open Reader Mode:

You will see a small and large A as shown here:

To make the text larger, tap on the large A. You can tap to large 11 times. I counted. :)
In this example I tapped the large A 8 times:

Even I can read that!
