Being a semi-retired photographer, I am excited to try the camera(s) on the 8-Plus. Would love to see images you take with your 8+. Ready to try out the new (beta) portrait features? Let's see your shots!
After more than 15 years covering everything Apple, it’s with a heavy heart we announce that we will no longer be publishing new content on iMore and the iMore forums will be closing as of November 1st, 2024.
Apparently it’s much better in low-light as compared to the Note 8.

I started a new thread above but DXOMark has rated the iPhone 8 Plus as having the best smartphone camera, with a new record score of 94.
It will be interesting, once the iPhone X comes out, if it can beat the score (since it allegedly has an even nicer camera).
I am looking forward to seeing this, I have the Note 8 and took some pictures inside a casino in Vegas and it is impressive, and I have shot the same scenes with high end cameras. If the 8plus is better then I may have to pick one up
You might be interested in Mr. Mobile's review (part 1) of the iPhone 8. Much of it revolves around the camera and he was very impressed, liking it better than the Note 8 -- though they are close. The iPhone X should have an even better camera in low light (f/2.4 on the X versus f/2.8 on the 8 Plus).

No editing other than different portrait lighting and some cropping...
Big fan of B&W shots
Just messing around with the portrait lighting. Very impressed thus far. //uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170923/8ffde87be6615d90a6cf25aee67144f7.jpg//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170923/5e8a62480298feec807edf991d379e03.jpg
