I've been using Anker Soundcore Liberty Air earbuds and they've been fine... once connected. The sound quality was ok but they weren't noise canceling and once you disconnected them, you had to re-pair them, and honestly it was such a PITA to do, I got fed up and just stopped using them.
My head told me to hold off buying Airpods, my heart won out.
The Airpod Pros are just amazing! They connect to my 11 Pro Max effortlessly and I can also use them on my iPad too, because they are now connected to my iCloud account.
I honestly wish I had bought them earlier, but holding off has now meant i have the Pros instead of the first or second gen ones, so I guess it all works out in the end.
