Google photos and my iPhone photos

I just installed google photos a meanwhile ago but it seems that it had moved all my photos from iphone to google photos. Now it seems fine but would i be able to see my google photos offline (i mean if i have no coverage). Secondly is ot safe to keep my photos on google photos?

I don't use google photos but if it works similar to OneDrive you should be able to download an app to store them on your device but if freeing up space is your goal then you will have to keep them in the cloud and offline viewing will not be an option

I am new to iphone and icloud and i recently seen in a few reviews that i use icloud for backing up everything from my iphone and use other cloud services for photos storage? What does it mean and how can i have backip of my photos to icloud?
