Google contacts sync

Does anyone know how to get your contacts on your iphone to sync up with your Google account?

When I add contacts on Google it updates but when I do it on the iphone it does not update Google.

Any advice or ideas would be appreciated.

Google Sync

You'll need to either check the checkbox in iTunes, underneath the Sync Addressbook section on the Info tab. Or if you want to do it OTA, you'll need to use Google Sync, which sets it up as an exchange account (link).

I set it up as an exchange but it is not syncing my contacts at all. It only syncs what I put in Google not in my Outlook.

I don't want to lose what I have in my Outlook.

Any ideas of why it doesn't sync my contacts from Outlook to Google?

Do you have the Google Sync for Outlook so that it syncs what is in your Outlook Contacts with the Google Contacts?
