Google calendar sync issue - Facebook birthdays

just finishing setting up my ipod and iphone. im coming from a blackberry where i had my phones calendar synced with google sync. now i was able to sync/ load all my contacts from gmail onto my iphone and ipod with no issues. they properly sync via icloud. now my calendar has synced, well only parts of it. my work schedule synced properly (initially set up on my blackberry then synced to gmail) but my friends birthdays (imported to gmail via facebook export file) DO NOT show on my apple devices. is there something im missing? any tips on completing my calenday sync?

disregard, i was able to solve the issue. the FB birthdays werent added to my calendar properly. i was able to email myself the export link, click it and subscribe to it through my ipod, which in turn synced through the cloud/gmail.
