Ehh. Bad app.

Compared to the iOS email app, it is much slower, it doesn't have any extra features, it won't show up as a notification or allow for tone changes and you don't even have access to your gmail settings.

Like I said, iOS email app is much better, IMO.

i just use it to view my different labels and starred items only thing i hate is that it doesnt appear in the notification center

It was bad. I deleted it from my iPhone. Totally unnecessary. I find setting up with mail on the iPhone perfectly fine.
