How can a user temporarily disable all notification behavior in iOS 6? "Do Not Disturb" allows banners -- I don't want banners.

Ideally, I'd love a simple toggle just as iOS 4 had under settings: http://images.macworld.com/images/article/2011/10/old-notifications-toggle-258452.png

Why? I'd like to stream videos without being distracted by banners. This has been an issue since iOS 5. Now, I've jailbroken and am eager for an answer.

Thanks,
Mitch

Turn off any app that is in or under your notification center one by one and it will take out that app from your notification center and will no longer notify you in any way.Just go to settings>Notifications

Thanks Jaguarr40; I can see how that would work. A downside of this message is that it requires a boatload of work to disable every single notifying app.

Any way to simply toggle notifications on and off?
