get past all errors and install cydia with these steps.

This goes for those with macs only. Obviously this is for the newest untethered 4.2.1 release. just read it and follow the directions exactly. its not that hard. this will work if you are jailbroken but require a restore.

1. download the following things.

http://46.4.219.216/dl/greenpois0n-osx_rc5_2.zip
this has been patched to get past the initializing error.

https://sites.google.com/a/iphone-dev.com/files/home/redsn0w_mac_0.9.7b6.zip?attredirects=0&d=1
then this version of redsnow.

2. restore to your pre jailbreak state.
3. run the greenpoison program. follow the directions. upon jailbreak you will have loader app but no cydia.
4. run the redsnow app next. choose the "install cydia" checkbox only.
5. post back here with results so someone can help troubleshoot.

Maybe i'm missing something really obvious but I can get past the first screen with redsn0w. It just shows a browse button and the next button is grayed out.

@t4r ... You have to point redsnow in the proper direction to find your .ispw file. Do a quick search to find the appropriate file.
