OK so I'm thinking of getting an imac. reading about SSD VS fusion Dr.
I know the ssd are faster apple been using the fusion since 2012? and i think still
putting them in there. I'm not doing any video editing or photo editing.
just emailing reading and sending them from work and PDFS music storing picture
so the question is how bad are the fusion drives. slow? or can somebody shed some light on them.
thanks hope this makes a little since.

There is nothing wrong with having a fusion drive and they are indeed fast. Other than having moving parts, they are as dependable as any traditional hard drive, in my opinion.

I only notice it less than stellar if I access large files or libraries such as a virtual machine or Lightroom when the particular items have not been used recently.
