Notifications, GPS tracking & directions, Apple Pay, weather and temperature, calendar, remote control of music on phone, heart beats, locating your phone, iMessages, etc.

1. You do not have to take out your iPhone in regard to text messages, email, reminders, phone calls, etcetera.
2. You can download music to your Watch and then pair a Bluetooth headset with it to listen to the music.
3. You can change watch faces without changing watches.
4. You can check your heartbeat, track your exercise activity, check the weather, etc.
5. Other things not mentioned.

Keep in mind that for the Watch to work, you do have to have your iPhone with you.
