Forward email's with pictures

Lately when ever I forward an email that has a picture(s) in the body of the email the recipient can not see the picture(s). They can only see an outlined box with a red X in the upper left or right corner.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem might be?

Make sure you downloaded the whole email and photo prior to hitting the forward button.

Mine normally asks me if I want to include the original attachments. Does no one else's do this?

no pics on forwarded emails

This has happened to me a lot.Even though it does ask me if I want to include pics, they don't go thru.

The email and photo(s) have entirely downloaded and the email app asks if I want to include the photo(s) when forwarded.

Is there a setting that needs to be changed?

I am not JB and my software is all up to date.

Forwarding emails with pictures

I have had the problem on both my iPhone and now my iPad. The solution that works for me is to NOT use my gmail account!!! I have another older account that I now use as my primary outgoing mail service. You can still get gmail but change the setting for "out going mail" and that should solve the problem. My service provider is AT&T and EarthLink works fine but not gmail.
