Forgotten password can’t access trusted number

I have recently changed my phone number not thinking about my trusted number now being wrong, updated to iOS 12 ( which when I forgot my password previous to update I could put in my passcode in settings and change my password with no problems) and forgot my password to my Apple ID all in same time frame! So when I put forgot passcode it send my code to my old number which I don’t have access too and I can’t change my trusted number because I don’t know my password it’s a vicious cycle that I have tried so many times the Apple page tells me I can’t go any further because I’ve tried to recover to much! Please hellp thank you : Shannon password issue

Sorry to hear about your issue but in order to download and install iOS 12 you had to enter your passcode so I’m not sure what you mean about trusted number and passcode?????
