For those "in the know": Is there a 6S or 6S Plus coming out in six months?

Your opinion, please. Who thinks we'll see a 6S or 6S Plus in six months? I was really hoping sapphire screens would have made it to the 6, but I read somewhere that yield on screens was only 25% of goal. As an iPhone 5 owner, I admit I was surprised when the 5S was announced, and especially at the processing increase from 5 to 5S. (That's my bad, don't rub it in!)

Do you think there will be a mid-year release?

no because it makes no sense to to get half a product cycle out of a phone they won't likely have released globally in 5 months. Plus, the people likely in the know aren't posting on imore.

IPhone have always been annual releases... either the summer (earlier versions) or the fall.

only way I could see an early release is if "bendgate" was to get so out of hand with sliding sales & constant negative press. Launching a new iPhone would be a way of moving things on...

Although Apple has done some strange things - ie. replacing the ipad 3 with ipad 4 in about 7 or 8 months, it's HIGHLY unlikely there will be a new iphone until at least a year.
