What is up with the forum font? It can't just be me... very hard to read, seems to be a bold font and letters run together...

I remember this same problem when CrackBerry.com was redesigned and they changed it so it could be legible better.

I am running Win 7 and have a large number of fonts installed for various reasons, but it appears I am running the base default serif or whatever and it does not look good at all when reading, typing, etc...

Yikes, I hate to say it but it might be just you. Testing it myself with Firefox, Safari, and Opera I'm seeing the correct font. Maybe try doing a browser reset?

Same result no matter what browser - even FF... perhaps one of the fonts didn't install properly or something... anyone know what the font it is offhand so I don't need to search through the css to check it out?

Deleting all of my helvetica fonts in the system seemed to solve the problem with the fonts, but only in FF. Now, when using IE 9 it says there is a problem and resorts to compatibility mode and ie7 document standards as per the developer tools... very strange to say the least.
