Make sure your AirPods and iPhone are charging next to each, that usually does it for me.
Thanks for the reminder. My AirPods Pro 2 are currently charging in front of me, but not my iPhone. I’ll make sure they’re both connected to their chargers and then try again later this evening. Thanks again.

I completely forgot to check since I posted and my pair is also up-to-date.I just checked a moment ago and I now have firmware 7A294. Since it wasn’t there yesterday, I assumed it updated this morning at the office while charging.
New week, new firmware: 7A302 for AirPods Pro 2, 7A304 for AirPods 4.
