Files App Using Tons Of Space and Can't Figure Out Why

Hello,
I'm using iPadOS 13 on my 12.9" and I love it. I have been doing a lot of video editing/creation in Luma Fusion. I've been enjoying working with USB drives, etc. I've found that when I delete video, audio, or any other file that is large, that I have to go to the Files app and basically empty the trash. OK, that's nice it has the recently deleted. I see there's a ton of space used by the Files app because of those video and audio files...So I make sure all of the files are deleted and are "emptied" out of the recently deleted bin.

I go check and basically I still have maybe 25 gb still used up by the Files app. So, when I deleted several huge files and then made sure I emptied the deleted trash, it still acts as if essentially nothing was deleted. After trying to delete more and more, which I don't think there was that much more to delete (At least any files that were large) I decided to delete the Files app and reinstall it. Once I did that, I got my 25 gb back. Before deleting the app, I tried restarts to no avail.

Anyone have this type of problem? Any thoughts on why this is happening? It is almost maxing out my iPad memory and I'm not sure why.

So far, it haven't tried putting files of those sizes back in it. Video files that were 2 to 6 gb in size were what I was dealing with besides other files. Any files I have put in there haven't seem to use any more space than what you'd expect.
