Fast Charge for iPhone X

I

iMore Question

All right, I have an iPhone X with an Apple USB-C to Lightning cable (1m), and an Apple USB-C 29W adapter...well I've been trying to get 100% (or close too) charge in 1 hour...well I started it and 1 for and 15 minuted ago...and its only at 97%...it was 38% when I started...its certainly nowhere near 50% charging in 30 minutes...is there some setting to enable fast charge software wise?? I seem to be getting the same kind of speeds I get when I charge it in my USB 3.0 from my MacBook Pro (Which is 7.5W I believe)....now I do have the power adapted plugged into an extension block with other electronics in it...Might this be stopping some of the power flow perhaps??

Hello there.
With fast charging, you should be able to get 45-50% within 30 minutes of charging when starting from 0%. From what I know, it takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to fully charge an iPhone X with Fast Charge.

Apple ‘enabled’ fast charge with iOS 11.2.1.
As for being connected into an extension block, it probably doesn’t help as it surely has a loss, or more resistance, somewhere.
I’m no electricity professional so don’t take that for cash, it’s my opinion haha!

0-45/50% should take 30 minutes if I’m not mistaken.

0-100% roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes.
