It doesn't affect me at all, thankfully. I can't stand Facebook...lol

Exactly me in a nutshell. This change won't bother me as I don't use Facebook on my phone and only grudgingly use it on my browser for my business (although my good lady mostly manages it for me really).

Don't use FB messaging... and I've pretty much quit using the FB app on iPhone... the iPad iteration of the FB app is OK...

My situation is similar to Peligro. I am not one of those who hate Facebook, and the messenger app is what I mainly use to contact with friends back in the States. It doesn't affect me due to that.

On a side note, I've always found it strange for them to release a messenger app when the original app possessed the same capability. This decision is a good one in my opinion.
