Is my interpretation of Facebook's "Security Key's" correct? There will be some sort of "physical" safety key that people can put on a keyring... to help them gain 2FA access to their FB accounts?

No clue. Probably another sneaky way for Fakebook to extract more personal info. I don't know of anyone who has had their Facebook account hacked. There have been some whose account was copied by copycats. But the accounts were not actually hacked. Changing the password, or adding more security won't stop those. And Facebook does nothing about it, even when you report it.

Yes... I definitely do not like the idea of having a FB device on my keyring... due to potential tracking!
