It's already available. Try this:

1. Make sure your Facebook App has been updated to the most current version.
2. Once it's been updated, open the Facebook App.
3. At the bottom of the screen tap on the three lines
4. Scroll down to Settings and Privacy; tap to open
5. Tap on the 4th option, which is Dark Mode.
6. By default, Dark Mode is toggled off. You can select either On "or" System, where your appearance will be adjusted based on your devices system settings.

I respectfully disagree. My FB app is version 303.0 (updated 2 days ago) and no dark mode.

If it's like the iPhone app it will be rolled out to everyone eventually, but not all at once.

I did this on my iPhone and will check my iPad tonight.

Not on my iPad either. My phone yes but the entire menu structure is different from iPad. I ran Iinto this vast difference last week trying too inhibit a behaviour - iPhone yes, browser on iMac yes, iPad just updated, nope.

Same for me... it worked on my iPhone but not my iPad. After reading a couple of articles, this seems to be the “norm”! It will eventually show up.
