I found the battery of my iPhone 4 could not support my daily usage. I am thinking of get an external battery. After studying reviews at iLounge, I think the MiPow Power Tube 4000 is ideal as it is compact in size, with 30 pin connector built-in and got 4000mah battery. Have anyone tried and would recommened?

I picked up the Richard Solo 1800 mAh portable charger. Sure at 1800 mAh, it's less capable than the MiPow, but at $5.97 each, it works for me. Will fully charge an iPhone that is completely drained and is convenient to stick in a pocket, backpack or (my wife's) purse.

Where did you happen to find any for $5? Cheapest on amazon is $51. If you could show me the link I'd definitely like to order one of those.

They ran a special not long ago. I bought 3 for $5. Didn't need them, but who could resist. They made great gifts.

Was the special on amazon? Or on their website? I'll keep an eye out for them cause I would like one to keep in my backpack at work since I work 12 hour shifts it would be nice to have the extra battery if I need it. If you could remember where you got it from that would be awesome!
