I just went to use my Skiva Powervault and found that something leaked all over the pouch it was carried in, which has damaged it and everything else in it . Yay for waterproof pouches not letting it ooze in my bag, but boo for it destroying all that was in the pouch. Before I go buy another one of these Powervaults (it's nice, but should I get more POWAH!?), I wondered if anyone has a suggestion for a small, powerful and portable external battery option that will allow for 2 or so charges of an iPhone 6? This allowed for one full charge, which was fine, and it took maybe 3ish hours to charge. It was Apple approved charging too. But if I didn't have an easily removable case it was kind of a PITA.

I am looking at a Mophie Powervault 4x/4000...any other ideas?

Good to know, thanks! I might just go with it. The Skiva did great for me for a long time, til the aforementioned incident.

If you can wait a few weeks then I'd go with the FLUXMOB Bolt2. I backed it on kickstarter. It is 6000 mAh, has folding prongs so you can use it as a wall charger and allows for 2 devices to be charged simultaneously. I have 2 of the original Bolts and I can't express how amazing they are.
