EU takes covers off USB-C charging mandate, fast charging rules

As expected, the EU has today unveiled its plans to mandate USB-C charging in all mobile devices as well as cameras, headphones, and more. The EU is also going to mandate an end to bundling chargers with devices, and force the adoption of harmonized fast charging technology.
