Did you check your local Craigslist or eBay? That's probably a better source. But considering that it is 4 years old and you can get a new one with better specs for around $1200 or maybe less, I doubt you'll get more than $400. Good luck.

I agree. Somewhere between $450-550 should be a good place to land. I would say $600 is max you'll get for that.

Same specs...$500-$550 all day long in mint condition in Atlanta. I can buy the 2010 model for just a hair more so i doubt anyone would give you top dollar for the 2009 model given the difference in specs, especially dealing with the processor.

$500, tops ... the issue for me is the processor... the Core 2 Duo will slow that machine down, no matter what else you do to it. The SSD is a nice add, but not enough, IMO.

It's not a core i7 if it's a 2009 model...just FYI.

Modifications only change the value slightly...given the processor specs, it would probably be a 2012 model, and because of that, you're still pretty close to retail on it (especially for the top end 13" model. I can buy that model right now in Atlanta from $1,100-$1,300, but honestly, if i were to spend that kind of money on a laptop, I'd give up the extra cash and get the new model with the SSD and retina display.

Anything under $1,000 i would heavily question on that particular model (especially since it's probably still under Apple Care 1 year standard warranty...I'd be cautious under $1,100 as well.

I'd try to put on craigslist for $650 and then come down in price if you need to. Haggle with them make them think they're getting a deal.
